Even though I’ve been missing class like crazy because of work, my teacher taught me a double time step while everyone else was doing singles. Made me feel pretty awesome, not gonna lie. I’m so glad I signed up for these classes. I also think some new tap shoes might be in my future.

Just discovered that the plastic mat that my desk chair goes on makes the perfect surface to practice on without driving my downstairs neighbors crazy!

and I found out that my tap instructor from way back when in Illinois is originally from Milwaukee! At some point she taught at Danceworks, Inc. in Milwaukee…where I just happened to be browsing their class descriptions. After I found out she had taught there once I went back to look through the staff. She’s not, but if she was I think I’d totally sign up for one of her classes again. Small world.
