I swore I'd never live in Wisconsin

I always said I'd never stay in Wisconsin, but here I am four years later loving almost every minute of it.

Trivia, drinking, music and everything in between.

Dorm Hunters: Marquette University Class of 2016. If not commuting, accepted freshmen will rank their campus living preferences for Fall 2012.
Which residence halls would you recommend to Marquette’s new freshmen?
McCormick Hall
Mashuda Hall
Cobeen Hall
Abbottsford Hall
O’Donnell Hall
Carpenter Tower

I lived in two of these- Mashuda for a year and a half and McCormick for a semester. If I could have gotten out of McCormick sooner, i would have.

I loved my time at McCormick! While it’s a bit crazy and hectic…it is way more social than Carpenter tower or Mashuda. While it was great having my own bathroom sophomore year at Mashuda, the atmosphere was lacking. The hallways were dark, the doors were all always closed. If you are a hermit, Mashuda is the place for you! If you like people…go with McCormick, Cobeen or O’Donnel…or maybe Abbottsford..that’s new I don’t know anything about it.

    3. noellemnop answered: it is all in preference, but even if you arent in your first choice it isnt like you cant ever go there.
    4. laraislaraislara answered: McCormick…essence of the freshmen experience at Marquette!

    6. unlimitedpigeons answered: Well, Straz is the best dorm, but it’s only for freshman honors kids (and sophomores) but Cobeen is nice
