A sad story to remember while you celebrate the...
About five years ago or so a my childhood friend’s brother died. He was in a car accident on New Year’s that involved a drunk driver. He was in a cab. Me: Well, then unless you want to drive and leave your car that option is out.

Hungry but not so much
I woke up and was starving. So after piddling around for awhile, I finally made an English muffin for breakfast. I took no more than four small bites of it and now I have no appetite. That’s not to say I’m not hungry any more, but I can’t eat.

Christmas Weather Watch 2010
The weather report on the news just now said 27 and sunny for Saturday. Now as long as that forecast remains and is also the forecast for the Chicagoland area we should make it down there without incident.
Eff it, I don’t care if there’s 4 feet of snow, we will make it to LaGrange Christmas morning.

Zach is so bad a gift giving
I already know what one of my presents is because he’s too excited about it. Let’s just say there will be lots of circus animal shaped breakfasts in our future. I just hope he can hold out for the next week so he doesn’t ruin the rest of the surprise. Luckily he hasn’t bought my birthday present yet so he can’t ruin that surprise.

Sleeping woes
Last night I woke up around 4 a.m. and could not get myself back asleep. I eventually did, but then had a dream about not being able to sleep. In the dream I didn’t know if something had happened for real or if it was a dream. A dream within a dream!?! Outrageous.
